when I re-open to queries:

Here's what I'll be looking for:
I currently represent writers and illustrators from underrepresented communities writing in middle grade, young adult, and adult (fiction and nonfiction) categories. I am only accepting work from creators who identify with, or are members of, an underrepresented group. When I re-open to queries, I will be actively building my list in the following categories only:

• Adult fiction—romance, science fiction.
• Adult narrative nonfiction—food & wine (not cookbooks), science, pop culture (geek culture).
• Middle Grade fiction--(still looking for that romantic comedy approach to a middle grade coming-of-age novel).
• Graphic novels—adult, young adult, middle grade (including nonfiction).
• Illustrators—picture book to adult categories
